The man’s deep magnetic voice rang out beside her ear, “What’re you panicking for?”
The heat from his words swept the tip of LIn Nuan’s ear. She bit on her lower lip and suppressed her nerves with great effort, something that Fu Huai’an noticed, and she opened the door.
The light was still on in the living room.
When Lin Nuan went downstairs, she thought she could come right back up after passing the child over to Fu Huai’an. Who knew it would drag all the way to early morning the following day.
Lin Nuan let Fu Huai’an inside directly since there were no suitable shoes he could wear in her house.
She put the keys on the shoe shelf and said to him in a lowered voice, “The toilet is over there…”
Fu Huai’an glance followed Lin Nuan’s gaze. “Where?”
Lin Nuan kept silent.
She brought him over to the door of the toilet and turned on the light. She helped him open the door and nagged, “I need to wash up and get ready to go to the television station. My friend is also almost up so… be quick.”
Fu Huai’an looked down at Lin Nuan who was standing at the door and walked into the bathroom.
Lin Nuan didn’t move outside the door. He held onto the doorknob and asked, “Are you planning on listening to me use the toilet by the door?”
Her face flushed. Like anybody wanted to hear him use the toilet!
Disgusting jerk!
Lin Nuan turned around to leave but her hand was suddenly firmly grasped and yanked inside the bathroom.
Fu Huai’an locked the door from inside and pressed her up against the cold wall.
With her back against the tiled, cold wall, her steaming blood rushed straight to her head. She was so shocked her hair almost stood up straight and her heart starting pounding at a dangerously fast rate.
“What are you doing?!”
Lin Nuan angrily pushed Fu Huai’an who kept her in between his arms. Yet she was still careful not to be too loud, which made her look somewhat adorable as she was furious but too scared to show it.
Fu Huai’an’s looked tall and imposing. His wide, compact shoulders blocked away some of the light as he engulfed Lin Nuan in his shade. In a confined space like a bathroom where they were so close together, Fu Huai’an’s intoxicating scent entered her nostrils once again and made her feel extremely nervous and distressed.
“You kept standing at the door, so I might as well let you come inside to watch instead of listening outside.”
Fu Huai’an’s magnetic and unhurried voice sounded flirtatious. It was such tacky language yet coming from Fu Huai’an’s mouth made it impossible to dislike.
Looking at Fu Huai’an’s defined features, Lin Nuan’s ears were burning. “Who wanted to listen?”
“Then did you want to watch?” Fu Huai’an pressed one hand against the tiled wall and grabbed Lin Nuan’s tiny hand, moving it towards his belt buckle. “If you want to watch, then help yourself…”
Lin Nuan wanted to take her hand back yet it was clenched tightly in place by Fu Huai’an’s strong grip.
“Let go!”
Lin Nuan felt ashamed and embarrassed. She never did learn—she knew how scary Fu Huai’an was yet still let him enter her home.
Did she really think Fu Huai’an would mind her two friends being there, or was she actually not as repelled by him as she thought and believed in his character? Even she couldn’t figure it out.
Lying beneath her fingers and under one thin layer of cloth were Fu Huai’an’s compact muscles. The man’s burning heat traveled over to her—it was so hot that it made her shake all over.
She tried to take her hand back, yet Fu Huai’an grasped her arm and wrapped it around his slender waist.
Lin Nuan was unwilling.
“Don’t make a fuss…” Fu Huai’an’s deep voice carried a tone of raspiness in it as he embraced her. “We didn’t manage to make it happen in Tian Fu Wan last time because someone interrupted us. You were clearly frustrated and I was just pissed.”
